In anticipation of X-men #200, which is being pencilled by a man on this list, and after reading #199, I unveil my list of favorite artists... the type of artist that forces me to pick up copies of series that I wouldn't read otherwise.

I've let this post sit as a draft for weeks, mulling over the list, thinking of the artists I left off the list and I have realized how difficult it is to create a top ten list. Some individuals I left off due to their lack of work (Joe Madureira) or more prolific work in other mediums (Jeff Matsuda) and there are others that I just haven't seen their greatest work yet...
Who knows, maybe I'll have to do an annual list and see if it changes. X-Men #200 features work by the top two, so needless to say, I've had New England Comics save me a copy of all variant covers.
But, these are just my personal opinion, and I imagine that some people may take offense. I apologize in offense.
